The largest of the Balearic Islands, there’s an abundance of experiences to enjoy here. It’s our home and a very special place for us. It’s where Rib Club was born. We love its nature, sports, beaches and clear waters and live for the culture, tradition and fresh Mediterranean cuisine. We have the whole island covered, from capital Palma to Portals Nous or Andratx, to the northern coast’s Port de Pollença – plus, every beach club between.
Our first port of call is private marina, Club de Mar, in capital, Palma. With adventure in every direction, we recommend heading towards Andratx, calling at Roxy Beach in Puerto Portals for a cocktail. Or maybe head towards Port Adriano (one of Mallorca’s newest marinas) for lunch. Along the way, you’ll discover plenty of delightful coves and caves for swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing. Back in Palma our favourite places to enjoy the evening include Purobeach and Anima beach clubs.
We’re also based along the coast in Portals Nous and with its designer boutiques and in our opinion, some of the best restaurants on the island. From here you must venture by the beautiful Portals Vells (Three Finger Bay), for a swim in the idyllic water. Or Cap Falco, a secluded cove with a tender service taking you from the boat to the restaurant and beach.
Club de Vela (Andratx) and Port d’Andratx are our fabulous locations on the west coast. East of the port is Camp de Mar or you can sail towards Sant Elm. An incredible spot beside the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains with Caribbean-style waters for snorkelling. Also, in this area is the national park of Dragonera. Take a boat to the island, or request your RIB to be added to the approved list of visitor boats.
Port de Pollença is our northernmost base in Mallorca. A former fishing village with the Tramuntana mountains as a backdrop makes a spectacular spot to sail from. We like the short trip south along the coast to Can Gavella Beach Club or Floridita Beach Bar in Alcúdia.
